Here's a link to Canzone d'Amore written by Maria Linnemann and played by Peo Kindgren. My teacher just gave me the music for it a couple of weeks ago. It's a beautiful piece but I haven't nearly mastered it yet.
I saw absolutely nobody on the bike run. Sometimes I think I live in a deserted film set.

The Ceiling Fan is Still.
What a great title that is. Not mine but by composer Ken Graves. I am going to try and put a link here. If it doesn't go directly to his list of music just type "K.Graves" into the search box and look for the song titled "The Ceiling Fan is Still". I love it. It is very whacky and poetic. In fact, while you are at it, I suggest you listen to all of his compositions. I was blown away!
The wind has stopped...hooray!
The drawing is of me stuck on another planet, which I invariably am.

Weird Sunday.
Yet another grey day on the Mediterrenean coast but I went for a bike ride anyway. It's one of those days when everyone looks really weird. You know, people whose head looks too big for their bodies. I also saw a mountain biker almost get run over on the main road because nobody pays any attention to traffic lights on Sundays. Then after the biker had got back on his bike he was almost run over by a motorcyclist who came screaming through at about 120 kms an hour. It's only been two weeks since a fatal motorbike accident 100 metres down the same road.
The drawing is Maureen Chlorine visiting the work of French sculptor Christian Thomas.
Well worth a visit. I am going to do a six panel strip using a combination of his work along with a Maureen cartoon but it is taking a devilishly long time to do as I keep switching between CorelPaint, Adobe and Paintshop Pro.

Maureen Chlorine
Woah! This new layout is weird. I want the lettering below the picture not above it. Going to have to snoop around the templates.
Labels: cartoon, maureen chlorine.

Fish
Done with Apophosis, CorelPaint and Photoshop. I'm starting to realise the endless combinations can sometimes produce images I wasn't expecting at all.
The workman outside are relentless. They have been digging up the streets for weeks amidst much shouting and muttering in Russian and Spanish. Now they are digging up the water pipes so there is more pressure in the water. Piles of stones and holes everywhere.
Too windy to cycle.
