New Hat.

It bucketed down with rain all night and I'm trying to book a flight to England which is a mammoth exercise in lateral thinking. It is more complicated to get the the Lake District than Brazil.

Well, I got through the pretend guitar exam on Thursday but it was nerve racking. My teacher says he always feels sick before a recital. Why? Are people that perform in public scared the audience is going to attack them? Is it a fear of making a fool of oneself? In a funny way the pretend exam upped my ability to relax a notch...at least at home, anyway...ha, ha.

The above is done in "Artrage", a really good value piece of software. I could get quite addicted to it.

Under the weather.

This is done in "Artrage" using oil paints, palette knife and eraser. I am still surprised at the people that pop out the Wacom tablet.

The beach was deserted this morning and the sea the colour of pea soup but the wind has picked up again.

My guitar teacher said yesterday that in next week's class he is going to pretend it is an exam situation and I have to play "Canzone d'Amore" (Maria Linnemann) all the way through faultlessly. Oh ha, ha, good luck.
